Fixture is a typeface crafted by me, utilizing Glyphs software for its creation.

Defined by Merriam-Webster, ‘Fixture’ encompasses several meanings, including the act or process of becoming fixed, an object firmly embedded within a structure, a familiar or constant presence in a specific environment, and a scheduled event.

This typeface draws inspiration from DIN Alternate and the precision of laser cutting. Unlike traditional approaches that employ cuts for machinery support, Fixture incorporates open spaces and additional lines.

These elements not only define but also reinforce its architectural integrity, making the typeface a ‘fixture’ in its own right, akin to the extra line that characterizes and strengthens its design.
